My grandparents were born in the town of Lucca, Italy.  My whole life I had heard stories of Lucca and of Italy but had never had the chance to experience myself. For my 30th birthday I took a two week trip with my mother to see where my family came from.  I will never forget this trip.  We flew to Venice on 09|09|09 and traveled through Florence, Lucca, Venice and Rome over the next two weeks.
